Thunderbolts: 10 characters who could join the team in the MCU film
By Mark Lynch
8. Abomination
The phrase, “We have a Hulk” is something that scares most supervillain teams. When you see the giant rage monster coming at you, there’s nothing that can do but hope to survive the experience. Well, that’s if you don’t have a Hulk of your own. In this case, the Thunderbolts could recruit The Abomination.
Emil Blonsky will make his second Phase 4 appearance in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Unlike his appearance Shang-Chi And the Legend of the Ten Rings, Blonski will have a bigger role. This writer believes that when Emil’s trial is done, Valentina Allegra de Fontaine will swoop in and bring him in to be part of their muscle.
7. Ghost
Just like a Thunderbolts team would need a Hulk, they’d need an Iron Man as well. Someone who can infiltrate machines and battle someone with big time technology. They also need someone who can build machines. This writer was originally going to say Beetle or Fixer (both Thunderbolts in Marvel Comics). Then he realized that Ghost is a better option.
Ghost was the best part of Ant-Man and The Wasp. Even better was that she didn’t get a chance to shine. Sure, Ghost (played by Hannah John-Kamen) certainly beat people down and showed how great she can be, but she could have been more. If she returns in the Thunderbolts, Hannah John-Kamen will prove to the world what Ghost can really do.
