Harley Quinn season 3, episode 5 “It’s a Swamp Thing” could have been the best episode of the season. It wasn’t full of humor and violence, but it was packed with deep moments.

Batman and Catwoman came to terms with their relationship, Nora Fries learned to live her party-life in moderation, and Poison Ivy admitted the real reason why she’s worried about Frank the Plant. It wasn’t just that he was needed to terraform Gotham. Frank is Ivy’s best friend. Once she realized this, she meditated and found Frank. That’s when viewers find out that Batman was the one who stole him.

What to expect from episode 6 of Harley Quinn

The name of the episode is a dead giveaway. It’s called “Joker: The Killing Vote” – a reference to the comic book story Batman: The Killing Joke. Instead of attacking people, The Joker will be attacking the polls. He wants to be the next Mayor of Gotham City.

Joker won’t be running unopposed. The sitting Mayor (who’s in the hospital after getting a pole in his chest) and Police Commissioner James Gordon are in his way. Despite Joker being a murdering psychopath, he could win the race. Joker actually wants to make Gotham a better place. Especially for his new family. Voters may forget his past and only look at what he can do for the future of their city.
