Is She-Hulk a movie?
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law has arrived. Is the newest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe a movie or a TV series?
The world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe changed dramatically with the arrival of Phase Four. A post-Endgame crossroads for Marvel Studios that would make or break the MCU going forward, Kevin Fiege’s shared universe of superheroes began laying the foundation for new and upcoming heroes, while also making some time for the underappreciated heroes of Phases 1 – 3.
The Disney Plus streaming service allowed them to do that. As well as dominating the big screen, Marvel could introduce new heroes to dominate the small screen via a multitude of TV shows on Disney Plus, kicking off a new era for the MCU.
With all of the new film and TV show arrivals, it can be hard to keep track of which ones are which. And with that, we’re here to help, as we fill you in on whether the most recent entry, She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, can be watched on the silver screen or from the comfort of your own home on your TV screen.
Is She-Hulk a movie or a TV series?
If you’re planning a cinema trip to see She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, you might be happy to know that you won’t need to head out to see it. No, She-Hulk is not a movie, but a nine-part Disney Plus series that will explore the origins of the Jade Giantess. Thus, it won’t be showing in theaters and can instead be watched on the Disney Plus streaming service.
Starring Tatiana Maslany in the title role, the show is something of a legal comedy, with comparisons to Ally McBeal and other law-centric comedy TV shows already being made. It is, however, still set in the world of the MCU, with some familiar faces reprising their roles from the films, including Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/The Abomination, and Benedict Wong as Wong.
The show will run for eight weeks, kicking off on August 18 before wrapping its run in October.
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law streams new episodes every Thursday on Disney Plus.
