In the previous episode of Harley Quinn season 3, Harley and Poison Ivy were barely in it. While they were in New Orleans hanging with Swamp Thing, eating beignets, and learning about themselves, The Joker became the Mayor of Gotham City. If you’re wondering why Joker would want to become mayor, it was to help his son Benicio. And to get back at someone for hurting his family.

Of course, Harley was confused about how this happened. The Joker has been hurting Gotham for years. How will she react? That question leads us to the next episode titled, “Another Sharkley Adventure.”

The first thing Harley will probably do is talk to Joker. He may have gotten over her, but he’s still the guy who abused and mistreated her for years. She’ll be skeptical that he has Gotham’s best interest in mind. She may leave their interaction believing that Joker has changed, but not before having words with him and his girlfriend Bethany. She’s very overprotective of Joker.

Where that leaves Poison Ivy is something else all together. Who knows if she cares about Joker being in charge since her plan is to terraform Gotham. This will be another moment where Ivy goes along with Harley because she’s afraid to speak up.

With an episode name like, “Another Sharkley Adventure” we can expect to see a story surrounding King Shark. Last season, King Shark (who’s real name is Nanaue) married Tabitha to keep the peace. However, the two have an arrangement. They’d stay married for their kingdoms. In secret they’d date outside their marriage. King Shark’s story could be about the Shark Kingdom finding out the “couple’s” secret agreement.
