Spider-Man: No Way Home is returning to theaters with The More Fun Stuff version. Here, we let you know how and when you’ll be able to watch the film.

Spider-Man: No Way Home united three generations of web-slingers in Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire for a multiversal battle of epic proportions. The film became a critical and box office hit, raking in $1.9 billion worldwide and earning a “Fresh” 93% Tomatometer score. Peter Parker’s latest MCU outing is returning to theaters with an extended cut called The More Fun Stuff Version.

The film, which is scheduled for release on Sept. 2 in the US, features 11 minutes of added footage (as confirmed by Fandango), including new interactions between the three Spider-Men.

The pandemic greatly impacted the movie industry, prompting several studios to release many of their tentpoles directly to streaming, such as Warner Bros. with its 2021 slate—including The Suicide Squad—and Disney with Black Widow and Raya and the Last Dragon, among others. With that, you may be wondering if No Way Home‘s More Fun Stuff version will be available to stream online.

That, however, is not the case—at least for now. The extended cut will come out exclusively in theaters, and we’ve gathered its extensive worldwide release schedule for fans to check when it will be available in their region.

Is the Spider-Man: No Way Home extended edition release schedule

Sony released an official list of the countries in which The More Fun Stuff Version will come out, alongside their respective premiere dates. Below is the film’s release schedule, beginning on Aug. 31 and ending on Oct. 6:

  • August 31:  Indonesia.
  • September 1: Australia, Bahrain, Canada, Egypt, Ethiopia, Hong Kong, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Mexico, New Zealand, Oman, Qatar, Syria, UAE, USA.
  • September 2: India, Taiwan, Turkey, UK, Vietnam.
  • September 7: Belgium, Brazil, France, Philippines.
  • September 8: Germany, Singapore, Malaysia.
  • September 9: Japan.
  • September 18: Italy.
  • September 23: Spain.
  • October 6: South Korea.

It’s worth noting that, even though the USA’s premiere date is listed as Sept.1 in the tweet, the film’s trailers list it as Sept. 2. That could have been an error, or the Sept. 1 date could be for preview screenings. Either way, the movie appears to be scheduled to come out on Sept. 2 in the US.

The trailer above showcases glimpses of the new scenes present in the extended edition. One of them involves Peter climbing a wall in front of his classmates at school, teasing a more in-depth exploration of the fallout from the outing of his superhero identity.

While the extended version will likely receive a physical release eventually, no date for that has been announced. However, stay tuned to Bam Smack Pow for any updates regarding the film’s potential home-media edition.
