DC’s Stargirl season 1 and 2 recap: All seasons explained
DC’s Stargirl season 3 is set to arrive on The CW. If you need a reminder of what went down in previous seasons, here is everything you need to know.
The Star-Spangled Girl is back on The CW. Yes, after nearly a year of waiting, DC’s Stargirl season 3 is set to premiere on screens and fans of the popular DC TV series couldn’t be more excited.
Stargirl was originally a part of the DC Universe streaming service. Premiering back in 2020 as the last original series produced for the service, the Geoff Johns and Greg Berlanti-produced show received acclaim right off the bat, with particular praise being directed towards its nostalgic golden age feel, its high production values and Brec Bassinger’s leading performance as Courtney Whitmore.
The show also aired its first season on The CW, with weekly episodes airing the night after they were released on DC Universe. As a result, it became even more popular, with fans of the network’s Arrowverse shows enjoying Stargirl while the other shows were off the air during the pandemic.
Stargirl is undoubtedly one of the best shows that the comic book genre has to offer, so it goes without saying that viewers are eagerly anticipating the third season. But before Courtney, Starman and the Justice Society of America protect Blue Valley this time around, here’s a little reminder on everything that went down in seasons 1 and 2.
