Warner Bros. Discovery’s CEO David Zaslav has a 10-year plan for DC Films with Dan Lin in talks to oversee it. With new faces comes a new vision, which is good news for fans of the DCEU.

For over a decade, something was missing with Warner Bros’ DCEU – a linear directive. Fans of DC Films know all about the revolving door at the top. Names like Geoff Johns, Jon Berg, and Walter Hamada all oversaw DC Films at one point or the other. Zack Snyder was the original visionary with films like Man of Steel and Batman v Superman. Other films like Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman followed his theme, but studio interference watered down some DCEU films.

Warner Discovery’s CEO David Zaslav wants to try a different approach — an approach that worked for the MCU. Instead of having a bunch of head chefs, he wants one guy who can oversee all DC Films in order to avoid any complications — enter Dan Lin.

The IT and Aladdin producer is reportedly in talks with Warner Bros. Discovery and bring in the directors for his vision of DC Films. Once again, fans aren’t sure what to expect outside of the number of voices when it comes to decision-making. So what should the DCEU look like if it does find itself under the watchful eye of Dan Lin?
