Ben Kingsley back as Trevor Slattery in the MCU

It appears Trevor Slattery will return in the Wonder Man series for Disney+ as Ben Kingsley is reportedly set to reprise his role.
If you watched Shang-Chi: And The Legend of the Ten Rings and saw a familiar character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe was back which made you jump for joy, well be prepared to be excited once more. As revealed by Variety, Ben Kingsley will be reprising his role of Trevor Slattery (everyone’s favorite actor) in the Wonder Man series for Disney Plus.
The show is a Marvel Studios production and while we do not know too much just yet, it is one of the many eagerly-anticipated titles from the MCU in the coming years. It will focus on Simon Williams, a.k.a. Wonder Man, who is the son of a rich industrialist whose company finds itself struggling due to Stark Industries. It is then that he receives an offer from Baron Helmut Zemo to receive superpowers, including super strength.
Ben Kingsley returns to the MCU once again in Wonder Man
It has been heavily rumored for a while that the show is going to be a satire of Hollywood and so it would make sense that as a failed actor and ex-convict, Slattery would make an appearance. In the comics, Wonder Man was also a failed stunt man and actor at one point. Aside from that confirmation of his appearance, we do not know what role Ben Kingsley will have. However, we can count on it being worth the hype.
Kingsley first appeared as The Mandarin in Iron Man 3 . But in the film’s huge twist, we soon learned that he wasn’t actually the Marvel Comics character and was, instead, nothing more than a drunken soccer-loving fool hired to play the character in a series of chilling videos. He then appeared as a prisoner of the real Mandarin, a.k.a. Xu Wenwu, in Shang-Chi, with his cute winged companion Morris.
When we left him last, Slattery was helping our team to defeat Wenwu and the mystical magic he wielded. How we will appear next remains to be seen. But we do have one important question that needs to be answered: Will Morris be making a grand return?
