House of the Dragon is back on HBO and HBO Max for its third episode this week. When can viewers around the world expect episode 3 in their neck of the woods?

The world has been watching on Sunday nights when House of the Dragon is on. Much like its predecessor Game of Thrones did before it, the HBO series has captivated audiences with its thrilling narrative, amazing special effects and larger-than-life scope, giving the franchise its second big hit.

Even with the uncertainty after GoT‘s questionable series finale, viewers tuned back into the world of Westeros to see how the story of the troubled Targaryen family began. And they tuned in in their droves, with the premiere episode drawing an incredible 10 million viewers across all platforms. Clearly, they liked what they saw, as the second episode saw an increase in viewers, landing at an incredible 10.2 million viewers.

Showcasing what is known as the beginning of the end for the Targaryens, House of the Dragon sees Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen (Milly Alcock) deemed to be future Queen by her father King Viserys I Targaryen (Paddy Considine), who had to choose between his daughter and brother to be his successor. He chose his daughter because of the unpredictable nature of his brother Daemon (Matt Smith).

The saga is continuing to grip viewers each week, so you can rest assured they will all be awaiting episode 3. If you’re one of them and need to know when it arrives in your part of the world, here’s where you can expect the third episode where you live.
