Thor: Love and Thunder release time on Disney Plus (by time zone)

Thor: Love and Thunder is about to make its presence felt on Disney Plus. When does the MCU film arrive on the streaming service where you live?

Fans have been waiting for Thor: Love and Thunder to arrive on Disney Plus. The film was released in movie theaters back in the first week of July and it didn’t take long for Chris Hemsworth’s God of Thunder to dominate the box office. But not everyone went to see it on the silver screen, and those that didn’t were undoubtedly eagerly awaiting its premiere on Disney Plus (as well as those eager to rewatch it).

The film was initially expected to arrive on the streaming service in the last week of August as previous Marvel Cinematic Universe films have been released to Disney Plus after their 45-day theatrical release windows. When Marvel and Disney remained quiet about any release for Thor 4, it became clear that they had a different plan in place for it – a plan that came to light when they announced that Love and Thunder would debut on Thursday, September 8, as part of Disney Plus Day.

Thor: Love and Thunder Disney Plus release time

Wednesdays have become the regular day of release for Marvel Studios titles on Disney Plus, but the streamer has opted to unveil Thor: Love and Thunder this Thursday instead given that it is Disney Plus Day. However, this won’t be the first title from Marvel to debut on Thursdays, with She-Hulk: Attorney At Law opting for a Thursday release too. In fact, the fourth episode of the series debuts the exact same time as Thor 4.
