Disney Plus Day 2022 may bring some major Marvel, Star Wars and Disney announcements. When does it start in your area?

Disney is preparing to break the internet again. That may seem like a bold assumption to make before Disney Plus Day really kicks off, but since this is a day celebrating the streaming service that houses Marvel Studios and Lucasfilm, we’d say that’s an understandably bold assumption to make.

It has now almost been three years since the beloved streaming platform launched and to honor that anniversary, Disney, Marvel and Lucasfilm are preparing the second-annual Disney Plus Day to remind audiences why Disney Plus is one of a kind.

And with that, fans are hoping for some major announcements and reveals on the Disney, Marvel and Star Wars fronts. We may get the bigger ones at the upcoming D23 Expo this weekend, but Disney Plus Day will surely have some treats of its own in the meantime.

But when does the event kick off for those who are tuning in around the world? Let’s find out!

What time does Disney Plus Day 2022 start?

Disney Plus Day 2022 kicks off on Thursday September 8. It all begins at 12:00 a.m. PT, 3:00 a.m. ET, and 2:00 a.m. CT with the arrival of new titles on the service, including Thor: Love and Thunder, which has made is presence felt on Disney Plus to honor the anniversary.

But when will it be available for other countries around the world? Find your release time below!

Hawaii: 9:00 p.m. HST on Wednesday, September 7
Alaska: 11:00 p.m. AKDT on Wednesday, September 7
West Coast of the US: 12:00 a.m. PT on Thursday, September 8
Mountain time: 1:00 a.m. MT on Thursday, September 8
Midwest of the US: 2:00 a.m. CT on Thursday, September 8
East Coast of the US: 3:00 a.m. ET on Thursday, September 8
Brazil: 4:00 a.m. BRT on Thursday, September 8
UK: 8:00 am BST on Thursday, September 8
France: 9:00 a.m. CEST on Thursday, September 8
Germany: 9:00 a.m. CEST on Thursday, September 8
Italy: 9:00 a.m. CEST on Thursday, September 8
Spain: 9:00 a.m. CEST on Thursday, September 8
India: 1:30 p.m. IST on Thursday, September 8
South Korea: 4:00 p.m. KST on Thursday, September 8
Japan: 4:00 p.m. KST on Thursday, September 8
Sydney, Australia: 5:00 p.m. AEST on Thursday, September 8

After the new titles make their presence felt, there are expected to be more huge announcements later in the day. At last year’s event, those announcements kicked off at 9:00 a.m. ET, 6:00 a.m. PT, and 8:00 a.m. CT. So, keep a lookout at that time, and keep a lookout for more reveals throughout the day. While the event won’t be live-streamed, the announcements are usually made via a tweet-thread on Twitter.
