Captain America, Black Panther WW2 game announced

Captain America and Black Panther will be back in a new action-packed game set in World War 2.
Friday kicked off D23 in Anaheim as it was the first three days for the hyped-up expo. First up was a panel focused on video games and Marvel brought the heat. The game had long been rumored but was made official Friday, featuring both Captain America and Black Panther set during World War 2.
The game will feature four different heroes with different labels. We have “King,” “Captain,” “Soldier,” and “Spy.” It has also been confirmed that Cap will be a young Steve Rodgers and that Black Panther will be Azurri.
Azurri is the grandfather of T’Challa and will be holding the coveted mantle during this time period. Gabriel Jones will be the soldier who is a member of the Howling Commandoes and Nanali will be the spy from the Wakandan network of spies.
The trailer appeared to be set in Paris which showcased Hydra assets and then we flashed to a fight between our two heroes. Could they be foes turned allies in this game? We aren’t sure but, if the two are facing off then fans are in for a fun-filled game. The two sides could be working toward a common goal of stopping Hydra from further destruction.
As the trailer ends it appears we will also spend time in Wakanda as well. As for other territories, well we will have to get our hands on the game. Skydance New Media will be producing the game and aside from that, we are unsure as to when the game will be officially released.
The game is currently under development and is one of two Marvel titles that were announced yesterday with Midnight Sons revealed to be released on Dec. 2, 2022. Stay tuned for further updates!
