Rogers the Musical performance kicks off D23

To kick off the Marvel Studios portion of the D23 panel, fans in attendance were treated to a special live performance from Rogers: The Musical — the fictional Broadway musical from Hawkeye. While the performance is not available to stream, Marvel President Kevin Feige joked that it might be the first and last Marvel musical performance at D23.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever D23 updates

Following the opening Rogers: The Musical performance, the attention shifted to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever with those in attendance at D23 getting a first look at a scene from the film. According to director Ryan Coogler, the film is in the final stages of production as he’s currently working on the final cut of the film.

The film is said to find the rest of the world attempting to capitalize on Wakdanda’s resources when they are at their weakest. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has also been described by Kevin Feige as the biggest thing Marvel Studios have ever done.

We also had the chance to hear from the cast with Winston Duke telling the crowd he’s “excited for everyone to see Wakanda after the Endgame era.” This new era is one he described as featuring tech “like nothing you’ve ever seen” and that everything in Wakanda is “bigger and new.”

Who is Anthony Ramos playing in the MCU?

Anthony Ramos is set to play Parker Robbins aka The Hood in the MCU, making his MCU debut in Ironheart. According to Ramos, Parker is “a little bit of a good guy and a bad guy” who was a misfit that now wants to “take in other misfits and show the world that we’re gonna end up on top.”

Paul Rudd says Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is ‘bananas’

Fans might want to brace themselves for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania! The third film in the Ant-Man franchise is going to deliver something unlike anything we’ve seen from the franchise thus far in a film that star Paul Rudd described as being “bananas.”  Helping to push the film into new places is the arrival of Kang who Rudd teased “throws this whole thing into such a new territory.”

Randall Park confirmed for Ant-Man 3

Fans hoping to see Jimmy Woo return in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania are in luck! During the film’s D23 panel, it was confirmed that Randall Park will reprise his role as Jimmy Woo in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and will return in some capacity in the film.

As revealed at the Marvel Studios D23 panel, Loki season 2 will feature the return of many characters from season 1 along with new characters.

Speaking of new faces, it seems season 2 will find Loki back at the TVA but his former partner Mobius will not know who he is.

Was the Fantastic Four cast announced at D23?

There might have been a lot of rumors which stated the Fantastic Four cast would be revealed at D23; however, Kevin Feige did not reveal any information about the film. In fact, Feige seemed to troll those in attendance when he is reported to have pointed to Fantastic Four director Matt Shakman in the audience, confirming his connection to the film before telling fans he wasn’t on stage because there was nothing else to say or show.

He did, however, hint a Fantastic Four announcement could come at the next D23 telling the crowd that “there will be another D23 before it comes.”
