She-Hulk might have just confirmed the existence of the Fantastic Four in the MCU prime universe with an under-the-radar nod to one hero on the team.

From the moment She-Hulk first premiered on Disney Plus, the series has been full of Easter eggs and references to iconic Marvel characters and events.

We’ve had references to films such as Eternals, Spider-Man: No Way Home and Shang-Chi: Legend of the Ten Rings and even were treated to a moment that seemed to confirm Wolverine’s existence in the MCU. While some nods were more direct than others, the Easter eggs have been easy to spot and quickly managed to get fans talking across social media.

Perhaps it’s for that very reason that it’s so surprising to see many overlooking a major Easter egg incorporated within the fifth episode of the series that seems to have just introduced the Fantastic Four as part of the MCU Prime Universe.

She-Hulk Fantastic Four Easter Egg explained

In the fifth episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, the writers finally address the plotline of Jen getting her She-Hulk suit in a brilliant and wildly entertaining storyline.

It all begins when Pug mentions having a drip guy who can find anything one’s looking for fashion-wise. This sparks an idea for Nikki and she quickly inquires as to whether Pug’s drop guy might know someone who could do custom clothing for a superhero.

After greasing the palm of Pug’s drip guy by purchasing some unofficial Avengers merch, Nikki and Pug are able to get the address of a man known for making high-end attire for elite clientele. And after lying by telling the mystery designer her client was an Avenger, Nikki was able to secure an appointment for Jen.

When they arrive for the appointment, they meet Luke Jacobson, a designer who prides himself on making custom attire for his clients which includes a variety of superheroes/vigilantes. Up front, he asks Jen what type of suit she needs which is when he appears to make a not-so-subtle nod to reference to a certain fiery hero from the Fantastic Four.

Although Luke does not mention the Human Torch by name when running through the list of possible features Jen might need, he mentions a variety of functions he has experience in incorporating including fire resistance suits. Considering we haven’t officially met any MCU hero with fire abilities, the line seemed to be a subtle way of tipping a hat to the Human Torch from the Fantastic Four who requires a special suit to accommodate his ability to engulf his entire body in flame.

Of course, Luke could have been referring to another hero, but Marvel never does anything by accident and the reference seemed to be a subtle way of hinting that the Fantastic Four exist out there somewhere in the MCU Prime Universe and that Luke might have been the one to create their unique suits.
