The season 3 finale of Harley Quinn provided citizens of Gotham City with a new Bat-Family leader. Contains spoilers for Harley Quinn season 3.

The third season of Harley Quinn has been completed. Despite Ivy wanting to embrace her villain side and Harley becoming a hero, HarlIvy managed to find common ground and stay together. The funny thing is that The Joker is the reason they stayed together.

Joker pointed out that Harley was going back to her old ways of following someone because she loved them. Once he told Ivy this, Ivy confronted Harley. She made sure Harley knew that their relationship was a partnership. After a brief talk, the couple found common ground thanks to Harley’s former toxic boyfriend. As great as that was, it wasn’t the most important thing that Joker did in the TV show’s season 3 finale.

Joker has Bruce Wayne arrested

After the premiere of the Thomas Wayne movie, Joker brings out his goons. At first it seemed like the Clown Prince of Crime was going back to his old ways. In actuality, he was doing more great mayoral deeds. Joker had Bruce Wayne arrested for tax evasion. This writer knew something major with Bruce was going to happen, but he didn’t expect this.

Whether or not it’s true remains to be seen. Joker knows Batman is Bruce Wayne (he found out in the season 1 finale of Harley Quinn). Joker may be a fair mayor, but he could also still hold a grudge. If not for years of foiling his plans, then for not making good on the Wayne Tech promise for an electric car (see the video below). Or maybe he’s really trying to clean up Gotham City.

Barbara Gordon (Batgirl) offered to break Bruce Wayne out of jail. Instead of taking the offer, Bruce provided Barbara with a different option. He tells her that she should lead the Bat-Family. Batgirl says she can’t, but Bruce reminds her that she already has by defeating the Mad-Hatter and protecting the city from zombies. Bruce tells Batgirl that Gotham is in good hands and gets escorted to a Gotham City Police vehicle.

At the end of the episode, the Bat-Signal is lit up while Batgirl, Nightwing, and Robin (Damian Wayne) look on. Out of nowhere, Harley kicks in a door and offers her assistance. Of course, Batgirl is excited and Nightwing is skeptical. However, Harley tells Nightwing not to worry because he still has the best butt in the group. And thus, he says that they should give Harley a chance.

Now, like in DC Comics, Harley is part of the Bat-Family.
