Has Harley Quinn completed its run or will there be a new episode airing on HBO Max this week?
A lot happened in the most recent episode of Harley Quinn season 3. Of course, there’s the relationship between Ivy and Harley. The two seem to be on separate paths. Ivy may not be a villain, but she’s certainly not joining the Bat-Family. Meanwhile, that’s exactly what her girlfriend did. Harley finally admitted to herself that she’s not a villain, leading her to try and protect Gotham City as opposed to terrorizing it. This also leads to her teaming up with her former enemies, the Bat-Family.
Speaking of the Bat-Family, Bruce Wayne is going to jail for tax evasion. This means that Batman will be out of commission for a while. Instead of breaking out, Bruce left Barbara Gordon (Batgirl) in charge of the team. She was hesitant to take the job until Bruce reminded her that she’d been protecting the city without Batman for a while. This gave her the confidence she needed to accept that she’s good enough.
Is Harley Quinn new tonight, September 22?
Unfortunately, Harley Quinn won’t be airing a new episode this week. As you can see, the season finale left a few things up in the air, and now fans will have to wait until the fourth season to get some answers to the questions that the episode left.
Among them are Bruce Wayne’s fate, how the relationship between Harley and the Bat-Family will work out, and what’s next for Poison Ivy. The good news is that the show has already been renewed for a fourth season, so it will be back with new episodes, but they will likely premiere in 2023 at the earliest. So don’t expect any new or bonus episodes of Harley Quinn for the foreseeable.
However, while that’s sad news, some good can come out of the season 3 finale. You can always rewatch the entire season to see what you missed. If you’re bold enough, you can binge all 30 episodes on HBO Max and prepare for season 4.
