Titans season 4 is not coming to HBO Max in October 2022

Titans season 4 was initially rumored to debut on HBO Max in October 2022 but now we know that won’t be the case.

Titans fans have been waiting a long time for new episodes. The HBO Max series wrapped its third season in October 2021, setting up an interesting fourth season in the process. The show had already been renewed for season 4 at DC FanDome in the same month, so more story was already a given. What might be somewhat unexpected is the lengthy wait that has come with it.

While the former DC Universe series does normally premiere in the later months of the year, it has been rather quiet in terms of updates about release date and promotion this year – something that wasn’t helped by all of the drama going on at HBO Max after the Warner Bros. Discovery merger.

But in spite of cancellation rumors and release date confusion, Titans season 4 is on its way. Unfortunately, the new episodes will not be releasing in October. HBO Max has released its line-up for the month and Titans is not listed there. That said, we do know when it will premiere.

Titans season 4 release date updates

Titans season 4 will premiere on HBO Max in November 2022. The news was confirmed by Entertainment Weekly when the first promotional image of season 4 was unveiled, showcasing Anna Diop’s Starfire as she meets Titus Welliver’s Lex Luthor.

Actor Brenton Thwaites, who plays Nightwing on the show, reportedly told fans at Motor City-Comic-Con a few months ago that the show was aiming for an October release window, but given that the fourth season only just wrapped production, it’s understandable that it has been held until November.

If you need your DC TV fix in the meantime, DC’s Stargirl (which will be crossing over with Titans this season) is currently airing its third season on Wednesdays on The CW at 8/7c.
