Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is not far away, but when exactly does the sequel premiere on the big screen? When does Black Panther 2 come out?

The world has not stopped talking about Black Panther: Wakanda Forever since the stunning first trailer was unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con. It was an incredibly powerful teaser trailer that reiterated what many people already knew: This film is going to be emotional.

The first Black Panther film was released back in 2018 and it was nothing short of a masterpiece. A critical and financial success, it grossed over $1 billion at the box office and was nominated for a multitude of Academy Awards.

The plot of the sequel remains unknown for the most part, but one thing we all know is that it will honor the legacy of the late, great Chadwick Boseman, who played the title character in the first film and sadly passed away in August 2020 at the age of 43.

Wakanda Forever will undoubtedly be one of this year’s biggest movies in more ways than one. When does the Marvel Cinematic Universe film arrive in movie theaters?

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever arrives in movie theaters on Friday, November 11, 2022.

The last of this year’s three cinematic releases from Marvel Studios, it comes after May’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and July’s Thor: Love and Thunder. It also serves as the 30th movie in the ever-growing MCU.

The film stars Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Winston Duke, Florence Kasumba, Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Tenoch Huerta, Martin Freeman, and Angela Bassett. It is expected to see the rise of a new Black Panther while also paying tribute to the legendary T’Challa.
