Harley Quinn season 4 is not coming to HBO Max in October 2022

Harley Quinn season 4 may be on its way but it won’t be released in October of 2022. Even so, the show has made sure fans will be talking about it until its return.

Season 3 of Harley Quinn was one of the few shows that didn’t get canceled when Warner Bros Discovery was giving shows and movies the ax. Canceling this show would have been a mistake. It’s one of the few shows that is universally beloved by fans and critics. Everything that She-Hulk: Attorney at Law represents, Harley Quinn does as well. Whatever the reason is, Harley’s been exempt from unwarranted judgment.

A fourth season is on the way but fans are going to have to wait for it. There are the rare occasions when a show will drop two seasons within a year. Harley Quinn actually did that with seasons 1 and 2 in 2019/2020. Unfortunately, that won’t be the case here.

HBO Max has announced what’s coming in October and, understandably, Harley Quinn season 4 is not mentioned. So when could it premiere?

Harley Quinn season 4 release date predictions

With the show just recently being renewed for a fourth season and season 3 just concluding, it will be some time before Harley Quinn season 4 comes out, so 2023 is a likely possibility for an early release (but we wouldn’t rule out 2024 as a possibility either).

If we had to guess, it’ll be at least another six months before even a full trailer for season 4 is released. After all, there was a lengthy wait for season 3 because animation takes time to produce. That’s just a prediction, of course, so it’s best to wait for HBO Max to make an announcement before assuming anything about the release date. Thankfully, regardless of how long it takes for season 4 to debut, the show won’t abandon fans just because there aren’t any new episodes.

There will likely be a lot of promoting the show on social media, referencing main characters Harley and Poison Ivy, especially on the official Harley Quinn Twitter page. The show’s Twitter account reposts a lot of fan art that they see. A great way for people to interact with the show and get their artwork seen by thousands of people. They also post popular memes like this one.

The show’s Instagram page will always show random clips from the series and keep fans informed on any news involving it as well. It’s a masterclass on how to properly promote a product and keep it in fans’ minds.

Lastly, we will also probably keep talking about the show whenever we hear some casting announcements. Just like Harvey Guillen was announced to be voicing Nightwing before season 3, more headlines like this will undoubtedly come out in the build-up to season 4. There are more than a few Bat-Family characters that haven’t been used and even more DC Comics characters that haven’t been introduced in Harley Quinn. Could we see Red Hood, Huntress, or Tim Drake at some point? Who knows; maybe there will be a Teen Titans sighting coming up.
