Werewolf by Night will make history as Marvel’s first MCU special, a special that will feature a unique runtime that might leave some wanting more.

This Friday, Marvel is about to once again enter uncharted territory. While there is a lot Marvel has accomplished over the years, the studio will finally be adding a holiday special to the list with the release of its new Halloween special Werewolf by Night. 

Set within the MCU, the one-off is set to introduce viewers to a wave of new characters via a self-contained special with the potential to change the landscape of the MCU forever.

Because of its first-of-its-kind nature though, there are a lot of questions among fans regarding the special including just how long it will be.

How long is Werewolf by Night on Disney Plus?

Marvel’s new Halloween special Werewolf by Night will have a runtime of roughly 53 minutes — or 52 minutes and 37 seconds to be precise. This is shorter than your standard Marvel movie but also longer than your standard Marvel television show, which makes sense given it’s a special and not a traditional movie or show.

The runtime might be shorter than fans might have hoped, but Marvel did an amazing job of using every minute of the special’s runtime to deliver a truly compelling story. Though that doesn’t mean we weren’t left wanting more by the time the credits began rolling!
