Titans season 4 release date, cast, trailer updates, photos, synopsis, filming and more
Titans season 4 is on the horizon and here is everything we know about the returning HBO Max series.
It’s been a lengthy wait for fans of DC’s Titans. The highly popular former DC Universe show made its debut as an HBO Max original last year with its third season, with many praising it as the show’s best offering yet.
Since season 3’s conclusion, there has been a lot of discussion about its fourth. Season 4 was confirmed at DC FanDome, but with all of the confusion surrounding Warner Bros. following the merge with Discovery, and the future of the HBO Max streaming service (and the fact that this has been the longest the show has gone without more definitive release updates), it hasn’t been the smoothest period of time for the series (or any DC TV series, for that matter).
Nevertheless, Titans is on its way back to TV screens and below you’ll find all the up-to-date information you need about the show’s return, including its cast, release updates, when to a expect a trailer, and more.
Is Titans season 4 happening?
Yes, there will be a fourth season of Titans. The series was renewed for season 4 at DC FanDome in October last year. The subsequent concerns about WBD’s cancellation of the HBO Max Batgirl movie and the removal of various HBO Max originals did cause some panic among fans when it came to the future of the DC series, but it has since been confirmed that Titans season 4 is on its way. Even better, it’s almost upon us.
Titans season 4 release date
Titans season 4 will premiere on HBO Max on November 3. The announcement came during the show’s panel at New York Comic-Con.
Entertainment Weekly initially confirmed a November release after months of speculation that it might debut in October. That is a little later than the show’s normal release window (which usually sees it premiere new episodes in late summer/early fall), but with filming taking place until the end of September, it’s understandable that it can’t premiere just yet.
Titans season 4 teaser
With Titans season 4’s release window just weeks away, the first teaser trailer premiered at New York Comic-Con. It didn’t give much away, but it does tease a very dark season. You can watch it here:

The second new clip from Titans season 4 was also released at New York Comic-Con. This one features the Titans suiting up as they battle the villainous Mother Mayhem.
Titans season 4 cast
As of writing, most of Titans‘ primary cast is expected to return for the fourth season of the show. While not all of the cast members will be back in a regular capacity, here is everyone confirmed for a regular role at the moment (including some newcomers):

Meanwhile, it’s unknown if Conor Leslie or Minka Kelly will return given the departures of their respective characters Donna Troy/Wonder Girl and Dawn Granger/Dove.
Speaking of guest cast, Titus Welliver will bring iconic DC villain Lex Luthor to the Titansverse. However, he’s not the only confirmed guest/recurring cast member:

- Lisa Ambalavanar as Jinx
- James Scully in an unknown role

Titans season 4 filming updates and behind-the-scenes photos
Titans season 4 has been filming since February and even though most of what went down on set has been kept a secret, some of the cast have shared some exciting updates.
When production kicked off, Brenton Thwaites took to social media to showcase the reunited cast, revealing that the first episode begins with the Titans bowling.
What’s even more exciting than Brenton’s first post about production on Titans season 4 is his most recent, as the Nightwing actor revealed that he played a gig for his castmates as part of the wrap party. Yes, that would very much imply that filming on season 4 has been completed, which is of course very exciting as it means that new episodes seem that much closer now.
Check out the post, and Brenton’s amazing talent, here.
