Harley Quinn to star in a Valentine’s Day special for HBO Max

Harley Quinn is an amazing show for a lot of reasons. The comedy and action for starters. It’s enough to keep viewers coming back whenever a new episode is released.

More than those two things is the love story between Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy. They have the most beautiful romance in any fictional genre. Honestly, their storyline keeps the show going, and one of the best things that came out of this is people can stop saying that The Joker and Harley Quinn are relationship goals. Harley and Ivy are. Even Joker admitted that Ivy was the right person for her in the season 3 finale.

With everyone in love with DC Comics’ favorite couple, it only makes sense that HBO Max would produce a Harley Quinn Valentine’s Day special.

Harley Quinn gets her own Valentine’s Day special at HBO Max

According to Variety, the name of the special is Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special. Harley and Ivy will be celebrating their first Valentine’s Day as a couple. Of course, shenanigans will ensue with the pair.

We can probably expect the duo to have a fight in the restaurant. Maybe Hush will come looking for revenge after they beat him (read Tee Franklin’s Harley Quinn: The Animated Series: The Eat. Bang! Kill. Tour comic book for more on that).

Hopefully, viewers will see other heroes and villains on dates. Kite Man and Golden Glider along with Joker and Bethany are a possibility. However, Nightwing and Batgirl could be the big reveal here. Maybe Catwoman will visit Bruce Wayne in prison for a night of romance.

Harley and Ivy’s relationship had a few bumps in the road throughout season 3. Thankfully, everything worked out for them in the end. Although, fans didn’t get to see what happens next. How would things play out with their new life choices? Harley is a hero and teaming up with the Bat-Family, Meanwhile, Ivy will likely be leaning into being a villain. The special should let us know what happened after the season finale.

The last few seasons of Harley Quinn have had a happy ending. It’s refreshing since most shows with a major romance usually conclude some of their seasons with the couple breaking up. Instead, HarlIvy is stronger than ever. However, this Valentine’s Day episode could give viewers the cliffhanger that didn’t happen during the seasons, especially with season 4 coming. Hopefully that doesn’t happen. However, whatever happens, this writer trusts the creative to make it unforgettable.
