1. Doctor Doom

Doctor Doom is the best villain of all time. Antagonists like Joker, Loki, and even Darkseid can only dream of accomplishing the things he has. For example, Doom was once god. Not “a” god. He was actually god and remade the universe in his image.

While the Avengers and others were trying to stop the incursions that were destroying entire universes, Doctor Doom actually did it. He became all power and saved the multiverse. He used Molecule Man’s abilities to do it, but he’s the one who figured out how.

During that time, he killed Thanos and the Phoenix. Doing one is enough to make anyone one of the greatest of all time. It’s something else to do to both beings. That’s only one of the major things he’s done.

Like any great villain, Doom isn’t content with just being good. He wants to be the best. It’s why he’s a threat to more than just the Fantastic Four. Every superhero and villain knows what Doom is capable of. The Avengers, Wakanda, the X-Men, and more have all fought him and almost lost. It helps that he’s mastered both science and magic. Some people stop with one or the other. Not Victor von Doom. He learned both so he could truly be all-powerful.

Even when Doom loses, he actually comes out with something he needs. So, really, Doom has never really lost. The only thing that stops Victor von Doom is his own hubris. If he ever gets over himself, the Marvel Comics universe will be at his mercy.
