The Winchesters on The CW is back this week with the second episode of its premiere season. Here’s how you can watch the newest episode of the Supernatural spin-off series online.

The story of Sam and Dean Winchester was told in Supernatural. They protected the world from all sorts of beings. They even beat God and saved their entire reality. However, they aren’t the first hunters in their family. Before them, their father John and mother Mary were hunters.

If you watched Supernatural, you already know this. But you don’t know the entire story. The Winchesters is the story of the mother and father of the Winchester boys. How they met, fell in love, and how Mary got their father started hunting.

Unlike some shows, The Winchesters get right into hunting and Mary meeting John. There was even a mention of the Men of Letters. No point in wasting time here. The story was already told. Fans know that John and Mary get together and that Mary was an experienced hunter long before she met John.

Episode 1 was all about getting acclimated to the show. The creative team did a fantastic job establishing all of the main characters, their personalities, and that this will have the same feel as Supernatural. They changed just enough to make it new, but kept just the essence of the show and everything that made the franchise popular.

The biggest thing is finding out who the big bad of this season is. They’re supernatural beings called Akrida. Their goal is to wipe out everything. Other monsters included. And, according to Dean Winchester (who’s narrating the show) the Akrida are a threat to all existence. Something the hunters don’t know yet.

Lastly, Dean said there will be some surprises. Who knows, maybe we could see Sam and Dean. The two brothers time traveled in Supernatural. It’s not far-fetched that they would too. Where can you follow The Winchesters? Keep scrolling to find out.

“Teach Your Children Well” will air first on The CW this Tuesday night it’s made available to watch on CWTV the next day – where it will then be available to stream for five weeks. After the show is released, it will be available to purchase on Amazon Prime Video.
