AHS is back! Here’s how you can watch the American Horror Story season 11 premiere of AHS: NYC online. 

The creative team behind American Horror Story couldn’t have imagined that the show would take off like this. 11 seasons and over 100 episodes later and the show is still going strong.

Part of the reason for that success is they keep things fresh. The kind of horror changes as does the theme. We’ve seen ghosts, the Antichrist, serial killers, witches, and so much more. They’ve even gone with time travel after nuclear war destroyed civilization. Now, they’re going somewhere they haven’t gone before. The show is heading to New York City.

What to expect from American Horror Story: New York

All of the black leather, spike, and cuffs leads seen in the teaser below is a clue to what it could be. It looks like this will revolve around a dominatrix club. However, someone bled and a drop of blood was put into a drink. This could be somewhere run by or for vampires. This wouldn’t be the first time we’ve seen vampire-ish characters. The Hotel and Double Feature seasons both had Vampire like characters and themes. Even if they never used the word directly, fans knew what they’re dealing with.

Another thing to look for is the connection. Each of the American Horror Story seasons are linked in some way to at least one of the previous ones. Sometimes it’s subtle and you find out at the end of the season. There are also times where old characters will show up out of nowhere or certain things like Hell House are mentioned. Hopefully this theme will continue. It’s fun to see how all of the seasons interact with each other.

“Something’s Coming” and “Thank You For Your Service” will air first on FX this Wednesday night. It then streams the very next day on Hulu, where you can watch it.

After the season is released, it will then be available to purchase on Amazon Prime Video, along with plenty of other video-on-demand services.
