Will She-Hulk air a new bonus episode tonight, October 20?
By Mark Lynch
Will there be a new episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law tonight on Disney Plus? Is there going to be a follow up season?
The previous episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law was unexpected. Instead of the giant CGI fight, the episode’s conflict was solved with a fourth wall break and a conversation. This is something no one could have seen coming. And just like this was an unseen event, you might be wondering if the show could surprise fans with another episode tonight on Disney Plus.
If any show was going to catch fans off-guard with a surprise episode, it’s this one, right? Jennifer Walters breaks the fourth wall whenever she wants. Who’s to say she wouldn’t do it by releasing another episode? Sure, jumping into the Disney Plus app was big, but an unexpected episode would be historic.
If you’re wondering whether the show will be releasing a tenth episode tonight, here’s what you need to know.
Is She-Hulk new tonight, October 20?
Unfortunately, She-Hulk: Attorney At Law will not air a new episode tonight. Last week’s shocking ninth episode was actually the season finale, so it’s unlikely that we’ll see another episode of the show until we hear word on whether or not it will return for a second season.
Previous Marvel Studios’ shows WandaVision and What if…? also aired nine episodes. Jennifer Walters is the only character with the ability to subvert expectations and surprise audiences with another episode in the future, but season 1 has concluded.
The bigger question fans should be asking is if there will be a season 2.
Will there be a She-Hulk season 2?
There have yet to be any updates on whether or not She-Hulk will return for a season 2. It’s likely that we will see Tatiana Maslany again the MCU, but the question remains if there will be another season.
She-Hulk has created quite the response throughout its time on Disney Plus because of how different it was from the typical MCU project, with some “fans” review bombing it before giving it a chance, which is hilarious considering She-Hulk was making fun of the kind of people who negatively review a show before it comes out. Every week someone had something negative to complain about. If it wasn’t Jennifer Walters twerking with Megan Thee Stallion, it was Daredevil’s “walk of shame.” In spite of that, the vast majority of fans and critics loved it, with it currently holding a 73% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
She-Hulk was all about standing up to people, and it would be great if Marvel stood up for it and gave it that much-deserved second season. Hopefully that happens – Jennifer Walters, Nikki Ramos, Pug, and the rest of the cast deserve a second season.
