The Marvel Cinematic Universe is an incredibly exciting landscape and even more so with Disney Plus. Unfortunately, we shouldn’t expect these Marvel shows to return next year.

The Disney Plus streaming service has allowed the Marvel Cinematic Universe to expand its horizons far beyond what any film could have.

Thanks to the streamer, we have seen Phase Four of the MCU flourish and thrive, with the Emmy-nominated WandaVisionThe Falcon and the Winter SoldierLokiWhat If…?HawkeyeMoon KnightMs. Marvel, and She-Hulk: Attorney At Law opening up new stories, introducing new characters and taking us on all kinds of new adventures. We’ve also seen this with the introduction of holiday specials such as Werewolf by Night and the series of I Am Groot shorts.

The expansion of the MCU is set to continue into next year, with the opening of Phase Five setting the stage for an abundance of new film and TV titles. Unfortunately, we know that some of the service’s Marvel shows won’t be back in 2023.

3. She-Hulk: Attorney At Law

The most recent of the Marvel shows on Disney Plus, She-Hulk: Attorney At Law made all kinds of headlines because of how downright different it was, especially when you consider the type of titles that Marvel is used to making.

The half-hour legal comedy introduced us to Jennifer Walters, her greener other half, an assortment of joyous friends and colleagues of hers, and even the MCU’s Daredevil. The approach wasn’t for everyone, but it was a fresh take on an MCU origin story that provided viewers with a real chance to get to know the sensational Jennifer Walters.

This is one of Marvel’s few shows with second season potential, so don’t rule season 2 out. Unfortunately, if the studio does opt to give Tatiana Maslany’s Jade Giantess another season, it wouldn’t be released until 2024 at the earliest.
