1. Ms. Marvel

Kamala Khan made her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in memorable fashion. The game-changing superhero is the first Muslim character to headline her own Marvel Comics series, and then she went on to headline her own Disney Plus series too.

Iman Vellani made an impact with her breakout role in a show that was very much worth the wait (it was one of the few Marvel shows that kept getting moved around). And clearly, we’re not the only ones who felt that way, as the series became Marvel’s highest-scoring series on Rotten Tomatoes, holding an incredible 97% “fresh” rating.

While a second season has not yet been confirmed, there have been rumors that it is in development. It’s always best to wait for official confirmation from Marvel Studios about the future of the show, but regardless of whether the rumor comes to pass or not, that potential second season would not arrive in 2023.

The good news, however, is that Ms. Marvel’s next adventure will arrive next year, as Iman Vellani will reprise her role in upcoming Captain Marvel sequel The Marvels, where she will team up with Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers and Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau.
