The extended edition of Spider-Man: No Way Home has been released on digital platforms.

Spider-Man: No Way Home — The More Fun Stuff Version arrived in theaters in September. The new version of Marvel Studios and Sony’s film featured 11 minutes not seen in the original cut. No Way Home‘s added footage included a second scene centered around Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock, as well as an extended conversation between Andrew Garfield, Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland’s Spider-Men.

It also featured a high school-focused scene that provided more context to the fallout of Peter’s identity reveal. The extended edition became a box-office hit, taking in $7.6 million in the United States during its opening weekend. According to Forbes, that figure made it the most successful domestic re-release in almost a decade.

Now, fans can experience The More Fun Stuff version at home. As announced on the film’s official Twitter page, the film became available to buy on Digital on October 18:

For physical-media collectors, no release date was announced for possible 4K or Blu-ray editions. However, considering No Way Home was given a full physical release, a disc version of The More Fun Stuff Version could be coming shortly.

Which is the superior Spider-Man: No Way Home Experience?

When multiple versions of the same movie exist—especially when it comes to blockbusters—one question naturally arises: “Which is the better watching experience?” In the case of Spider-Man: No Way Home, the ideal option is the extended edition. The extra footage it includes may not be extensive, but it does feature valuable additions to the story, such as Matt Murdock’s aforementioned scene.

The More Fun Stuff version also includes a new post-credits scene, which explains how Doctor Strange’s spell made the world forget Peter Parker’s existence. As shown in the stinger, the wall-crawler was obscured or cleverly hidden in all pictures and video footage featuring him. Taking those elements into account, though brief, holistically speaking, the extended edition’s extra footage makes for a more well-rounded story.

Of course, that’s not to say that the theatrical version of No Way Home isn’t worthwhile. Its updated edition simply adds to the experience. In fact, it could be argued that the relatively small additions its offers make for a viewing experience as digestible as the original. Clocking in at 2 hours and 28 minutes counting credits, No Way Home is already quite long. The More Fun Stuff Version‘s 11 extra minutes obviously makes the movie longer. Yet, it doesn’t make it too long to the point where it may deter people from watching it.

Spider-Man’s third MCU film represents Peter Parker’s most unique live-action story yet. As such, it’s worth experiencing the longest version of it. The theatrical edition of Spider-Man: No Way Home is available to purchase on 4K, Blu-ray, DVD and Digital.
