The Winchesters on The CW is back this week with the third episode of its premiere season. Here’s how you can watch the newest episode of the Supernatural spin-off series online.

The Winchesters is two episodes in and it’s already better than this writer could have hoped. It has the same feel as Supernatural with one big change and it’s not the decade they’re in. The Winchesters have a consistent team hunting with the two primary characters.

Sam and Dean have had teammates that became family over the years. Bobby, Charlie, and Castiel are only a few of the many. The difference here is John and Mary have Latika and Carlos with them on all of their hunts. It’s like Scooby Doo except this team is more skilled and dangerous.

The previous episode had the gang hunting a being called La Tunda, an ancient being that preyed on people who “disobeyed” their parents. La Tunda served as a way to dive into John’s issues with himself and his parents. This episode wasn’t great, but they all can’t be winners. This writer hopes the next one is better. “You’re Lost Little Girl” looks like more of what happened in “Teach Your Children Well”. Instead of John digging into his past, it’s Mary’s turn.

At this point, Mary (played by Meg Donnelly) has come off as a more interesting and stronger character than John (Drake Rodger). Hopefully this episode will benefit from that and will help the show bounce back from a subpar episode.
