Superman and Lois season 3 is not coming to The CW in November 2022

The CW’s fall schedule is here but Superman and Lois season 3 unfortunately won’t be a part of it. When will it be back on screens?

Superman and Lois‘ second season concluded back in June. The show’s sophomore outing saw Clark Kent, Lois Lane, Jonathan and Jordan Kent, and all of Smallville unite against the parasitic Ally Allston as she attempted to merge the Inverse World with theirs. In the end, a super-charged Superman won the battle and saved the day once again.

The finale was a definitive conclusion to the season, with only minor threads setting the stage for season 3. Now, we know that season 3 will feature Chad L. Coleman in the role of Bruno Mannheim – the man who, according to John Diggle, killed Superman and Lois‘ Earth’s version of John Henry Irons. And that means that the show’s John Henry is on a collision course with him.

As excitement continues to build for

Superman and Lois

season 3, there is still some uncertainty as to when it will be back on The CW. Unfortunately, it is clear that it won’t be this month. Yes, the network has launched

its fall 2022 line-up

, but

Superman and Lois

is not a part of it and thus won’t be airing new episodes in November.

Superman and Lois season 3 release date predictions

Superman and Lois season 3 is going to premiere in 2023. A definitive release window hasn’t been set yet but the show has a history of arriving pretty early, with its first season premiering in February (2021) and its second in January (2022). Moreover, with The CW seemingly moving away from summer releases, Superman and Lois will likely have kicked off its third season long before then.

Taking that into account, it’s likely that the show’s third season will premiere sometime between January and March. This is when the network usually launches its midseason releases, and given Superman and Lois‘ history with that release pattern, it wouldn’t be too outside-the-ordinary for them to do it again with season 3.

As always, that is just a prediction, so you’re best to wait until The CW confirms the release date. But rest assured that Clark, Lois, and the Kent-Lane-Irons family will be taking us up, up, and away all over again next year.
