The Winchesters on The CW is back this week with the third episode of its premiere season. Here’s how you can watch the newest episode of the Supernatural spin-off series online.

The second episode of The Winchesters wasn’t its best. The monster was forgettable, it didn’t really help move the season along. The latter was the most important. Not every supernatural being is going to be great but each episode should have something to add to the story. John having a breakthrough with his mother wasn’t enough. Thankfully, episode 3 felt more like a Supernatural episode.

First, this episode of The Winchesters was fun. This writer’s favorite part was when Ada exorcized a demon and put them in a bonsai plant. But not before getting much needed information from them. Ada showed that she’s more than what we’ve seen. Hopefully we’ll see more of this and her as the season goes on. Although, Ada is the kind of character that usually dies. Someone that’s likable that makes people sad when they die protecting or saving someone.

Second, and more importantly, the story progresses. Demon Jack said that the Akrida are hiding inside a human just like demons do. The team finds this out because Jack tells Ada and Carlos about the deal they made. The demons get the monster box to them and they get to stay after the Akrida destroy everything on Earth. If the Akrida are making a deal with demons, then they’re definitely making deals with other monsters.

Lastly, the episode ended well. Fans got to see what the Akrida looks like and what human their leader is possessing. The Akrida look like a cross between the drone bug aliens from Starship Troopers and the Brood from Marvel Comics. As for their leader, she’s a DJ named Rockin Roxy and being played by Batwoman‘s Bridget Regan. Hopefully she’ll continue the trend of Supernatural having incredibly memorable, dominant, and evil women.
