Nancy Drew season 4 is not coming to The CW in November 2022

Nancy Drew season 4 will be the show’s final season but don’t anticipate its arrival this month. When can viewers expect it to premiere?

The end is unfortunately nigh for Nancy Drew. The TV show was one of the lucky few to survive The CW’s mass cancellation spree earlier this year when it was renewed for a fourth season ahead of the sale of the network. However, it was recently announced that season 4 would indeed be the show’s final bow.

There is a lot of intrigue already surrounding the show’s upcoming fourth season, mainly because “Nace” shippers want to know if this will be the season which finally sees Nancy and Ace happy and together. Now, the creative team have been tasked with bringing the overall show’s story to a close as well.

If you’re hoping to see Nancy Drew season 4 on The CW this month, you will likely be disappointed. The network has launched its fall schedule but Nancy is not a part of it. So, just when can viewers anticipate new episodes?

Nancy Drew season 4 release date predictions

Nancy Drew season 4 will premiere on The CW in 2023. Like fellow CW shows The Flash, Superman and Lois, and Riverdale, it will be a part of the network’s midseason schedule, meaning that the decision was made to hold it a little longer.

As for likely release windows, we could see Nancy Drew season 4 debut as early as January 2023. The network has been known for starting its midseason shows at the beginning of the year, but it’s also worth bearing in mind that it could be held until early Spring, with a March or April 2023 release date also being a possibility – the reason being that all midseason shows likely won’t premiere at once.

Fall series Walker: Independence will continue into midseason with the second half of its debut season, while DC’s Stargirl will complete its third and final season in the fall. Thus, not all slots will free up in 2023 right away.

Right now, we’ll have to wait and see where Nancy Drew season 4 decides to make its presence felt on The CW’s 2023 schedule. Those are just predictions, so it’s best to wait for an official announcement from the network in regards to the show’s return date, but with the network steering clear of its shows running into the summer, expect it to arrive early enough so it can complete its season before the summertime.
