If you only know Black Adam from his DCEU solo movie, then you now know what every DC Comics fan is aware of. He’s one of the toughest beings to defeat in any comic book genre.
His lightning is only part of what makes him nearly unbeatable. His biggest attribute is his ruthlessness. Adam ripping an enemy in half wasn’t just something added for the movie. He’s done this in the comics. Given the opportunity, he’d do it again.
Marvel Comics has their share of gods and god-like beings, too. They also have characters that have beaten gods despite being outclassed where power is concerned. Wolverine is a perfect example. Despite usually being the smallest in the fight or outnumbered, Logan usually find a way to win. He’s even beaten the Hulk more than once on his own. How many people can say that? However, can he overcome Black Adam? It’s doubtful, but not impossible.
