The Suicide Squad would have done a better job against Black Adam than the JSA.

For the second week in a row, Black Adam was No. 1 at the box office. According to Deadline, DC Comics’ newest film will make over $100 million domestically. This is good news for DC Comics fans. The DC Extended Universe needed a win at the box office.

Not only is it still number 1, fans seem to enjoy it as well. The audience score is at a 90% on Rotten Tomatoes. As much as people may look at the critics’ Tomatometer score, the audience score is important as well, maybe more depending on where your allegiance lies.

During Black Adam, the Justice Society of America (Hawkman, Dr. Fate, Cyclone, and Atom Smasher) was sent in by Amanda Waller to capture or kill Black Adam. The JSA eventually accomplished their goal, but not before each of them took a beating. A lot of it had to do with them not really being a team.

Hawkman and Dr. Fate have worked together, but Cyclone and Adam Smasher were newbies. More than that, they hadn’t worked together before that day. Not the kind of people you want to send into a fight against a god. Amanda Waller should have sent The Suicide Squad.
