Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever will be one of this year’s biggest movies, but will you be able to watch it on Netflix? Where can you watch the MCU film?

We have already seen two entries from the Marvel Cinematic Universe grace the big screen this year, as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Thor: Love and Thunder premiered in theaters. Now, the final MCU installment of the year is Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

This movie is expected to be an emotional one. Not only is it the sequel to the highly-impactful Black Panther, it will pay tribute to the life and legacy of the late, great Chadwick Boseman as the characters in the film pay tribute to his character T’Challa.

If you’re not planning on going to the theater to see the movie, you may want to know if you can watch it online and where it will be available in the future.

Is Black Panther: Wakanda Forever available on Netflix?

Unfortunately, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever won’t be available to watch on Netflix. As Disney is the parent company of Marvel Studios, almost all of the MCU theatrical releases are housed on the Disney Plus streaming service after their theatrical release window closes.

If you are, however, interested in watching some superhero titles on Netflix, make sure you check out The FlashArrowSupergirlDC’s Legends of TomorrowThe Old Guard or The Umbrella Academy. If you live outside of the US, you can find DC’s Titans on the streamer.

Where will Black Panther 2 be available to stream?

Black Panther 2 is only available in movie theaters right now, so it will be some time before you find it on any streaming service. That being said, if you’re happy to hold out until then, you will be able to find Wakanda Forever on Disney Plus in the not-to-distant future.

As Marvel Studios films tend to have a theatrical release window of about 45-70 days before their streaming debut, the most likely streaming release window for Black Panther 2 would be early 2023. As always, it’s best to wait for an official announcement from Marvel.

After its streaming debut, it will make its way to VOD services for purchase and receive a home media release.
