The Walking Dead season 11 episode 24 is the final episode ever for TWD. When does the series finale of the classic AMC series come out?
We have spent the past few weeks and months talking about how the end of an era is upon us with The Walking Dead‘s impending conclusion, but now: The end of an era is here.
With its twenty-third episode about to air on AMC (and you might have already seen it if you watched it on AMC+), there is just one episode of the veteran zombie drama left. And with that, the long-running series will conclude forever.
There is still life in the TWD franchise, however, with spin-off Fear The Walking Dead set to return for its eighth season next year, along with new spin-offs Dead City, Daryl Dixon, and Rick and Michonne. But right now it’s all about celebrating the show that started it all for the TWD Universe.
Here’s how you can do that and tune into the series finale (The Walking Dead season 11 episode 24).
The Walking Dead season 11 episode 24 release date
The Walking Dead season 11 episode 24 (the series finale), appropriately titled “Rest In Peace”, will air on AMC on Sunday, November 20, at 9:00 p.m. ET, 6:00 p.m. PT, and 8:00 p.m. CT.
If you’re hoping to see it online any earlier, we have some bad news. AMC announced that the series finale will not stream on AMC+ a week earlier like previous episodes have. The good thing about this, though, is that it will allow all TWD fans to enjoy the finale simultaneously and experience the end of an era together (and it will likely see an increase in on-the-night ratings as well).
Prepare yourself for the end of an era, as we will see how the survivors’ collective story will come to an end, setting the stage for the multiple TWD spin-offs.
