The Winchesters on The CW is back this week with the fifth episode of its premiere season. Here’s how you can watch the newest episode of the Supernatural spin-off series online.

The Winchesters on The CW took a week off from airing new episodes. This meant that people could go back and see the episodes they missed or refresh themselves before the new episodes began again. Hopefully, the time off in between episodes didn’t hurt The Winchesters. Especially since it seems like the show is finally getting good.

The Winchesters has found its stride in the last couple of episodes. Especially John Winchester. He’s finally becoming an interesting character. At first, he was bland and uninteresting. Since he’s one of the lead characters, it can take a person right out of the show. Delving into his PTSD from his time in the military is giving fans a reason to care about him. To top it off, his chemistry with Mary is finally coming together. Something that should have happened immediately.

In episode three, Ada exorcized a demon into a plant. Not only did this shock Carlos, it showed viewers that there’s more to Ada. According to IMDb, we could see more of what she can do in episode 5 as her past is highlighted. Something that will be an asset for the gang. Unfortunately, this probably means she’ll be killed during this season. Possibly in this episode.

While fighting Mars (the God of War) in episode 4, it looked like John Winchester was going to take the god up on his offer to be his soldier. If John wasn’t given the opportunity to kill Mars, he may have. This is likely what is meant when IMDb says that, “Still reeling from the last Hunt.”

John may not like war, but it could be the only place where he felt whole. After returning from war, the world seems strange to him and he might believe he doesn’t fit in. It makes sense considering how dedicated he was to hunting after Mary dies in Supernatural. This could be the ongoing theme for John going forward. Look for him to become more aggressive as the season continues.
