The end of The Walking Dead is imminent and fans are not ready to say goodbye.
It’s hard to believe (and quite frankly it’s understandable if you don’t want to believe) but The Walking Dead is coming to an end. That much has been known for some time, but it’s become that much more real because of the fact that the series finale is imminent.
The show’s eleventh and final season has been its biggest, as Maggie, Carol, Daryl, Aaron and Eugene had to contend with Reapers, remaining Whisperers, the struggles of Alexandria, Hilltop and Oceanside, and the discovery that a potential new sanctuary known as the Commonwealth exists.
The AMC series has made the most of season 11, with its three chapters splitting it up across a year-long period, and that has meant fans could do the same too, enjoying it for as along as possible. But the end is now upon us for TWD as the series finale is almost here.
When does the series finale of The Walking Dead come out?
The series finale of The Walking Dead, titled “Rest In Peace”, will premiere on Sunday, November 20, at 9:00 p.m. ET / 6:00 p.m. PT / 8:00 p.m. CT. It will air on AMC and stream on AMC Plus simultaneously, which is a different practice from previous episodes (which were made available on AMC+ a week before their air date), but this means that the show’s core fanbase can watch it at the same time together.
There are so many questions going into it, such as which community will survive the finale, how will it set up the planned spin-offs, and will a certain someone return from the “dead”?
So many questions, and so little time until The Walking Dead bows out once and for all.
