Will The Winchesters air a new episode tonight? (November 29, 2022)

Will there be a new episode of The Winchesters season 1 tonight on The CW?  When does season 1, episode 7 air?

At the end of the previous episode of The Winchesters, John admits that he’s using hunting as a way to deal with his anger. While he’s meditating with Latika, Carlos gives them news. They know where the Akrida are.

The description for the next episode, “Reflections”, teases that a lot is going to happen. Not only will Carlos and Latika go looking for information on the Akida, John and Mary will get news about their fathers – which will see Smallville star Tom Welling join the show for at least one episode.

But when does the next episode come out?

Is The Winchesters new tonight, November 29?

No, The Winchesters will not be airing a new episode on The CW tonight. Having a quick break is common for network TV shows. These interruptions can build anticipation for the rest of the season. Especially when there’s a good cliffhanger at the end of the previous episode. It’s not just network TV. Netflix adopted this method during the previous season of Stranger Things. However, The Winchesters just had a one-week break earlier this month and they’re now taking another week off before the mid-season finale. Another in a short amount of time is concerning.

The Supernatural spin-off hasn’t been overwhelming. Without being too harsh, the lead characters aren’t the driving force behind the show. Carlos, Ada, and Latika have been the best part so far. Meanwhile, John and Mary haven’t given fans what they’d want just yet. Nevertheless, there’s some good news. The Winchesters have another half of the season left and it could be everything fans hoped for.

There’s no guarantee that there will be a season 2 for The Winchesters yet. Mostly because both The CW and Warner Bros have been canceling a lot of their projects. Batgirl, and The Wonder Twins were axed on the Warner side, and Stargirl, Nancy Drew, and Dynasty are only three examples of The CW’s recent mass cancellation spree. Because of this, the remainder of the season has to be near flawless. Even if it does finish strong, there’s no guarantee that it’ll be picked up. Which is unfortunate since the show has potential.

When does The Winchesters season 1 return to The CW?

The Winchesters  season 1 will return to The CW next Tuesday, December 6, at 8:00 p.m. ET. Yes, that means the show is off for just one week and will be back next week!

As this is a new show, new fans have a week to catch up on the show. In fact, all episodes are available to stream for free on the CW website and the CW app. And if you’re hoping to rewatch it, then you can do that too!

The upcoming seventh episode is the midseason finale, which means that The Winchesters will join its fellow CW shows in taking a break for the holidays before returning next year.
