The Marvel CCXP panel featured a lot of Marvel news drops including the release of new footage for upcoming Marvel Studios projects and more.

Marvel Studios never does anything small, especially when it comes to presentations at major conventions. The studio is always known to make a splash at major pop culture events where it is often the most-talked-about event of the conventions.

At San Diego Comic-Co in July, Marvel dropped several first looks and made a few major announcements about its upcoming slate. The studio then brought fans even more updates during the D23 Expo in September which fans thought would be the final day for big announcements in 2022.

However, when it was announced Marvel Studios would have a presence at Brazil’s Comic Con Experience 2022 (CCXP), fans anticipated news more exciting reveals could be coming and they were correct to assume such.

The Marvel CCXP panel delivered some major announcements and offered up a handful of first looks at upcoming Marvel Studios projects. What was announced during the event on Dec. 1? Read on for the complete scoop on the Marvel news shared during Marvel’s CCXP panel presentation.

Marvel news from the Marvel CCXP panel (2022)

Heading into Marvel’s presentation at CCXP, all eyes were on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania for good reason. As Marvel’s next two cinematic releases, fans were hopeful the panel could bring new teases about the upcoming films and Marvel delivered. Here is a look at the news revealed during the Marvel CCXP panel.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 official trailer (CCXP)

During the Marvel Studios panel at CCXP22 (Comic-Con Experience 2022) in São Paulo, Brazil, Marvel Studios debuted the trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, releasing in U.S. theaters on May 5, 2023. Per Marvel:

"In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 our beloved band of misfits are looking a bit different these days. Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him to defend the universe along with protecting one of their own. A mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them."

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania teaser (CCXP)

While many expected Marvel Studios to drop a new trailer for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania during its appearance at CCXP, the studio instead debuted a new retrospective that explored Ant-Man and the Wasp’s journey leading up to the events of the upcoming third film in the Ant-Man franchise.

In the new Legacy of Ant-Man special, Marvel pieces together footage from Ant-Man, Captain America: Civil War, Ant-Man and The Wasp, and Avengers: Endgame while offering up a few glimpses of the upcoming film.
