Full list of Marvel movies confirmed for release in 2023

If you love Marvel movies, you’ll love 2023 because we’re getting even more of the MCU next year!

Since 2008, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been building a universe and dominating the box office. It has, in fact, dominated the box office with a release every single year (bar 2009 and 2020) and you can bet it plans on continuing that success in 2023.

Marvel Studios’ MCU is at another turning point as we’re standing at the beginning of Phase Five, ready to take on and enjoy whatever adventure comes our way. And those adventures will indeed come our way, as the universe’s Multiverse Saga will take some pivotal next steps in the chapters ahead.

If Phase Four was all about planning, Phase Five looks set to be about pulling that plan off, and it all has to do with the introduction of Kang the Conqueror in the third Ant-Man movie. But that’s not the only Marvel movie premiering in 2023.

Marvel movies 2023

There are five movies based on Marvel characters getting theatrical releases this coming year. Three of those are produced by Marvel Studios and set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Here is the list of Marvel Studios movies debuting in movie theaters in 2023:

  • Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania – February 17, 2023
  • Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 – May 5, 2023
  • The Marvels – July 28, 2023

The MCU movies are considered must-see, but they aren’t the only must-see Marvel movies coming out this year. Sony is also releasing films from its Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters franchise.

Here are all of the Sony Marvel movies coming to movie theaters in 2023:

  • Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse – June 2, 2023
  • Kraven the Hunter – October 6, 2023

Sony’s success with its new universe of Marvel characters started with Venom and they will be hoping to carry that into this year (as well as the next with 2024’s Madame Web).
