3. Sportsmaster

While he is technically not a Batman villain, Sportsmaster could also be an interesting role for Stephen Amell to tackle. Sportsmaster is a highly skilled athlete who uses his natural athleticism for criminal purposes and is known for his sports-themed weapons of destruction. This character would allow Amell to showcase his physical abilities and portray a villain with a unique and distinctive personality. Sportsmaster is a lesser-known villain in the DC Comics universe, but he has the potential to fit seamlessly into Matt Reeves’ Batman universe.

Sportsmaster, whose real name is Lawrence “Crusher” Crock, is a former athlete who uses his skills and knowledge of sports to commit crimes. He is a former Olympian turned criminal mastermind who uses his exceptional athletic skills to take on superheroes. He is a skilled hand-to-hand combatant and weapons expert and often depicted as a rival to Green Arrow, but he has also clashed with Batman on several occasions.

How he could fit in The Batman

In Reeves’ Batman universe, Sportsmaster could potentially be introduced as a new threat for the Caped Crusader to face. His exceptional physical abilities and strategic mind would make him a formidable opponent for Batman, and his tendency to use sports-themed gadgets and weapons would add a unique twist to their battles.

Fans have yet to see a live-action Sportsmaster in the DCEU or on the big screen (he was portrayed by Neil Hopkins on DC’s Stargirl). He could be a fresh and exciting addition to the Batman universe, providing new challenges and complexities for both Batman and the audience.

It would be interesting to see how Reeves would incorporate Sportsmaster into his Batman universe, and how the villain’s backstory and motivations are explored.
