10. Khonshu

Marvel project: Moon Knight

Voiced by: F. Murray Abraham

Khonshu wins this writer’s vote for funniest MCU character of the year. The sad part is that it’s unclear whether it was intentional or not. Either way, the Egyptian God of the Moon and the Night Sky was entertaining.

Calling Marc “the idiot” or berating both of his avatar’s personalities was hilarious. Then, in the end, finding out that he was more devious than we knew was even better. There’s a lot of potential with Khonshu as a villain. Hopefully, Marvel will explore this more.

9. Muneeba Khan

Marvel project: Ms. Marvel

Actress: Zenobia Shroff

There seems to be a theme with supporting characters being standouts in the MCU. Zenobia Shroff was phenomenal as Kamala Khan’s overprotective mother, Muneeba Khan.

It was definitely a rough start for Kamala and her mother. Nevertheless, they worked it out and it helped make the story great. Without Muneeba’s words of wisdom and very critical judgment, Kamala wouldn’t have the strength to be who she is.

Muneeba Khan is easily the most under-appreciated character in the MCU and should be talked about more. She was pivotal to Kamala’s growth. Not just as a hero, but as a teenager as well. Zenobia Shroff should be praised for helping make Ms. Marvel a nearly flawless show.
