Loki

While Marvel has given us many amazing Disney Plus series in the past few years, its track record for renewing its series has not been the best. In fact, Loki has been the one and only Marvel show thus far to secure a second season order from Marvel.

Loki season 2 is set to arrive this summer and it’s expected to help further the concept of the Multiverse and build toward the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe set projects. What remains unclear though is whether the series will continue beyond its second season or if Loki could be heading back to the big screen for his next adventure.

If there is any Marvel series that has the potential to make it to another season, Loki seems to have the best shot. However, we’d be lying if we didn’t admit to being afraid that season 2 could be the show’s last.

Titans, Doom Patrol, and Pennyworth

It’s a difficult time to be a DC Comics fan. Across 2022, a number of DC projects were canceled including a number of television shows and a handful of movies. It’s not just DC projects that have been in danger though. Warner Bros. Discovery has been cleaning house which has led to the cancellation of several hit shows and has made fans incredibly concerned about the future of HBO Max’s trio of DC shows: Titans, Doom Patrol, and Pennyworth.

The three series have captured the hearts of audiences and carved out passionate followings over the course of their respective runs. One would think the odds would be in the shows’ favor; however, with how many shows WB Discovery has canceled lately the shows’ current seasons could easily be their last.

Considering Harley Quinn managed to secure a renewal, there is hope for the shows. We’re just not sure how much we should get our hopes up.
