These TV shows will not be making their presence felt on our TV screens this coming year.

Television continues to impress every year. A fixture of our living rooms for decades, it’s only somewhat recently that its value is truly being appreciated, with US TV shows becoming popular internationally and streaming shows highlighting just how cinematic television can be.

One of the biggest fixtures of television in the past decade is superhero TV shows. While costumed crime-fighters have always been a part of TV history, the craze was taken to a new level with the birth of The CW’s Arrowverse. From there, streaming got in on the superhero game as well, before Marvel Studios finally joined in on it too, bringing the Marvel Cinematic Universe to the small screen via Disney Plus.

The superhero TV landscape continues to grow in the year ahead, with new arrivals like Secret InvasionGotham Knights, and Agatha: Coven of Chaos all looking to find their way onto our screens. However, there are some shows that you won’t be seeing on TV this year.

From untimely cancellations to the end of a miniseries, here are three comic book TV shows that won’t be back in 2023.
