2. Henry Cavill as Miracleman

Miracleman, also known as Marvelman, is a superhero created by writer Mick Anglo and artist Don Lawrence in the 1950s. The character was initially a British counterpart to Captain Marvel, but later evolved into a more complex and nuanced hero.

In the 1980s, writer Alan Moore took over the character and reinvented him as a dark and gritty hero, tackling complex themes such as power, responsibility, and morality. In this version, Miracleman gains his powers from a series of experiments performed on him by his adopted father, a scientist who was attempting to recreate the powers of the ancient gods.

One of the most memorable storylines in the series is “The Golden Age,” in which Miracleman travels back in time to ancient Egypt and battles the god Anubis. This storyline explores the concept of godhood and the consequences of wielding immense power.

Another notable aspect of Miracleman is its depiction of violence and its consequences. The character is not afraid to use lethal force when necessary, but also grapples with the emotional and psychological toll it takes on him.

Miracleman is a complex and thought-provoking superhero, tackling themes that are often overlooked in mainstream comics. Its dark and realistic portrayal of power and responsibility make it a must-read for any fan of the genre.

Cavill has the strength, athleticism, and screen presence necessary to bring Miracleman to life on the big screen. This is another role that would bring out the best in Cavill as an actor.
