Doom Patrol season 4 is back with its sixth episode of the season! Here’s how you can watch episode 6 online.
The previous episode of Doom Patrol was the epitome of everything you’d expect from the show. First, Jane is transported to the Underground during a, well, private moment. She doesn’t know how or why it happened, it just did. Meanwhile, Rita is getting old due to losing part of her (which was explored in episode 3 of this season) and tries to use experimental stuff in a box (that says do not use), which ends up causing the team to regress in age. If it isn’t cured, they’ll continue to de-age until they don’t exist.
Meanwhile, Larry is with Rama. While they’re together, they see the other’s past and what experiments were done to them. They witnessed how the Ant Farm forced them to use their powers to kill people. More importantly, Rama tells Larry that the only way to stop his powers from having a mass extinction event is to help Immortus.
As fun as this episode was, Doom Patrol always makes sure to enhance the story. This was no different. First, Immortus is, as Willoughby put it, “an interdimensional deity that’s capable of swallowing the entirety of existence whole.” Not only does the Doom Patrol have to stop Immortus , what’s in them could also bring it to life.
Apparently, the necklace that the Chief wore were parts of Immortus. He broke off pieces of it and used it on Jane, Cliff, Rita, and Larry. That’s how they’ve stayed young. It’s also why Dr. Janus wanted Rita. What was from Rita is the essence needed to bring Immortus to life.
There’s more to the episode, but you don’t want it spoiled. Especially not the ending.
