If you’re ready for your next zombie drama, here’s where and when you can watch the highly-anticipated TV series The Last of Us.

The Last of Us is the latest classic video game series to get a live-action adaptation and it goes without saying that fans of the game are hoping it will fare better than most of the previous failed attempts at making movies and shows based on video games. The thing that could work in its favor is that it’s set to be one of HBO’s biggest TV shows of the year, and more often than not, HBO always delivers.

The nine-episode (first season of the) series stars Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey as the two primary characters, with the former assigned to protect the latter from the harsh realities (and dangerous threats) of the dystopian world they have found themselves living in.

It isn’t long now until the highly-anticipated series premieres, and if you’re ready to watch it, here’s everything you need to know.

Where can you watch The Last of Us?

The Last of Us will air on TV in the United States on cable channel HBO. It premieres on Sunday, January 15 2023, at 9:00 p.m. ET. For anyone watching in territories without HBO Max, there are plans in place in some countries for it to air on other channels and services. The show will air in the UK and Ireland on Sky Atlantic, with Sky and Now also overseeing its airing in Italy, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
