3 Teen Wolf characters who definitely won’t be back in the movie
Kira Yukimura
Kira Yukimura made her debut on Teen Wolf in its third season in a recurring capacity. She quickly proved to be a popular addition to the show and actress Arden Cho was promoted to a series regular position for seasons 4 and 5.
During that time, Kira became more pivotal to the Teen Wolf lore, taking on threats alongside Scott such as the Berserkers and the Dread Doctors in the process. Unfortunately, the character was written out at the end of season 5 – an exit that fans were understandably not happy with.
Kira won’t be making her return to screens in Teen Wolf: The Movie either sadly. It was revealed that Arden Cho chose not to reprise her role in the upcoming revival movie as she was offered considerably less than “half the per-episode salary” proposed to her white co-stars.
Stiles Stilinski
Stiles Stilinski was, without a doubt, the heart and soul of Teen Wolf, and you’d be hard-pressed to find anyone who would tell you something different. Scott’s best friend and confidante, he has had his back since the very beginning of his supernatural journey and was always there when he needed help. Moreover, he also grew into one of the show’s most compelling characters, with season 3 undoubtedly being his shining moment.
When Teen Wolf: The Movie was announced, the first question on fans’ minds was undoubtedly: Will Stiles be in it?. Dylan O’Brien has become a leading man in Hollywood since the show’s conclusion (well, before it ended, actually), so would he able to make it work? Unfortunately, the stars did not align as O’Brien eventually confirmed that he would not be taking part, adding that it was a “difficult decision” but that he was happy were the story was left.
